Hawthorne’s NY Pizza, a fixture in the Charlotte community for many, is now open in Meridian Place. We are thrilled to have them as our first sit down restaurant at Meridian Place and one with so many options. A strong community advocate, Hawthorne’s is known not only for its great pizza, but also its tremendous selection of delicious salads, sandwiches, and entrees.
M Station Apartments Complete Lease Up
The momentum of the MoRA area can be seen in the rapid lease up of our M Station and its spacious and distinctive one, two and three offerings. Art@thePoint sculpture to brand area
MoRA’s Art@thePoint public art sculpture to be located at the juncture of Monroe Road and Conference Drive is well underway after a kickoff event held in January and a series of collaborative workshops including neighbors, business people, and students in the MoRA area. Slated for completion by early fall, Art@thePoint will establish an identity for the MoRA area. Learn more on how you can participate.

MoRA area homes see up surge in sales
The growing interest and excitement around the MoRA area is reflected in the significant increase in the sales of homes over the past year in the area. In fact, area Realtors have compiled statistics that show that the average of price of homes in the area has increased more than 15% over the past year. This sales data, compiled by Meghan Manges of Keller Williams, further shows that homes are selling within 37 days of being listed, and that MoRA homes are still very affordable with an average price of $228,167. Area Realtors and prospective homebuyers have taken notice of the area as have the media.
