MoRA’s momentum keeps growing with new events and venues
Word is getting out about the desirability of the MoRA area and the powerful sense of community and creativity that abound here. It seems that new groups are becoming part of the MoRA landscape and experience constantly. The past few months saw The Charlotte Symphony perform at Embrace, initial performances at Actor’s Theatre at The Barn down the road, and the opening of a second MoRA brewery, Vaulted Oak.
The area’s transformation is remarkable. Meridian Place would like to acknowledge the hard work of so many residents, business owners, artists and others who have done so much to fuel the momentum here, momentum that has caught the attention of local media. The message is getting out.
Meridian Place is adding a sweet new gathering place
Local favorite OMG Donuts and Coffee will be opening later this summer in Meridian Place in the building next to Edge City. Fresh donuts complete with custom fillings are the staple with OMG including classic glazed, maple bacon, and apple fritters. A full coffee bar serving Pure Intentions Coffees and a hand-scooped ice cream station will give area residents an excuse to visit OMG throughout the day.
