DECEMBER 2016 – The new hemlock tree glowing with Christmas lights at McAlpine Business Park is a great metaphor for the rapidly evolving Monroe-Independence corridor and Meridian Place.

Our mixed-use development could not be in a better place to capture the energy, enthusiasm and public/private investment that is reawakening Charlotte’s Monroe-Independence transportation corridor as a desirable place to live and work – particularly for our Millennial professionals. Here are details.

Meridian Place unfolds with finished apartments, new retail

Construction is virtually complete at M Station Apartments, our amenity-rich apartment community within 15 minutes of both uptown and the outer-belt village of Matthews. M Station approaches full occupancy.

Our first retail building is nearly finished, too. Our anchor tenant, the highly popular Hawthorne’s NY Pizza and Bar, recently received permits to upfit its anchor space.

Our leasing company, Childress Klein, is discussing leases with several other restaurants and shops. Visit MeridianPlace.com

MoRA plans to break ground on Jan. 5 for Art at The Point, a transformative community gathering spot and magnetic piece of public art – directly east of Meridian Place’s retail center on Monroe Road. Learn more: MoRAclt.org
